Alta Labs AP6W Wi-Fi 6, Wall mount enterprise Access Point

The AP6W access point from Alta Labs has a compact design with wall installation and allows for seamless integration into any commercial or residential environment. The AP6W can be powered either via Ethernet or locally through a DC jack.

The creators have done an exceptionally good job with the individual features such as reliable roaming handled through 802.11r/k/v standards, multi-password authentication on the same SSID to separate networks based on passwords, or content blocking using a DPI engine that requires no additional hardware and does not reduce the throughput of the Access Point.

Multi-Password Authentication

An innovative approach to network separation using different passwords for Wi-Fi instead of creating virtual SSIDs allows you to increase network throughput. Each password can be associated with a specific speed limit, set VLAN, Wi-Fi shutdown calendar, or hotspot.

Deep Packet Inspection Engine

Content blocking by application, selection from an extensive predefined list including possible domain blocking, all without reducing throughput or the need for additional hardware.
