The camera optimizes data flow using smart codecs H.265+ and H.264+. It features intelligent video analytics (SMD+) and can be controlled via a web browser, NVR, or the DMSS mobile application. It supports microSD cards up to 256 GB in capacity and is suitable for outdoor use due to its IP67 certification. Power can be supplied using 12 V DC or PoE (802.3af).

A free software SmartPSS Lite is available for device management, including NVRs and IP cameras. It allows for easy device searching, live channel monitoring, recording of selected channels based on specified criteria, and playback of recordings. Additionally, the DSS Express application is available, offering more features; it is free for up to 10 connected clients and is based on a client-server architecture. The more advanced DSS Pro is licensed and offers many more analytical features. For mobile access, the DMSS application is available for download from official app stores (Google Play/Apple App Store).
