iDS-7204HUHI-M1/XT/4A+4/1ALM is a digital video recorder that allows connection of 4 analog cameras and up to 6 IP cameras (deactivation of BNC inputs) / up to 8 IP cameras when "Enhanced IP" mode is enabled. The maximum resolution of connected cameras is 8MP.

Inside the device, there is space for 1 HDD with a maximum capacity of 10TB. The device connects to the network via one LAN port with a speed of 10/100Mbps, it has 2 USB ports for peripheral connections, it has alarm inputs/outputs (4/1) and 1x RS-485 for PTZ. For video output, there is 1 BNC connector with a resolution of 704x576, HDMI with max. resolution of 2560 x 1440 px, and VGA output with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080px. The maximum power consumption of the recorder without HDD is 10W.

*Motion detection 2.0 and perimeter protection cannot be enabled simultaneously. Enabling one feature will deactivate the other. If more than 2 IP cameras are connected (without disabling BNC inputs), it is necessary to enable enhanced IP mode in the recorder's menu. However, the recorder will lose all intelligent functions on analog inputs. It will record based on ordinary motion detection or take continuous recordings.
