KNOT is a truly versatile device with a wide range of connectivity options and protocol/interface support. It is an IoT Gateway that not only utilizes LoRa technology (863–870 MHz), but also supports Narrow Band 2 and LTE CAT-M1. These cellular technologies are supported by numerous mobile operators worldwide, including in the Czech Republic, thanks to their low monthly cost and narrow bandwidth usage compared to standard LTE.

KNOT can monitor integrated GPIO, convert RS485/Modbus to TCP/IP, and forward Bluetooth (5.2) packets to TCP/IP via HTTPS or MQTT. It can act as a bridge for wired RS485/Modbus sensors, sending data to a Modbus server. In other words, KNOT enables wireless connectivity for wired sensors and actuators like electricity meters and relays. For example, you can manage a vending machine with temperature and humidity sensors connected to KNOT, using just a few megabytes of data per day!
