OlifeEnergy SmartMeter LoRa wireless module - pair

The universal wireless communication module is based on LoRa technology and can be purchased and installed in all OlifeEnergy chargers and Smartmeters manufactured after January 1, 2022. Module it is intended for installation in the charger and Smartmeters. One is set as RX and the other as TX module. The wireless module uses the LoRa communication protocol with a frequency of 868 Mhz. The working range varies depending on the environment. Due to the similar frequency range, the ability of the signal to pass through objects is similar to that of a mobile phone signal. In open space, the working range of the module can exceed 100 meters.

Installing the module in SmartMeter

If your Olife Smartmeter is equipped with a wireless communication module, set the channel on which LoRa transmits and receives the signal. The TID in the SmartMeter is set using DIP switches and installed on the motherboard as shown. The range is 0-15. The same ID must also be set in the charging Wallbox station.

Installing the module in the OlifeEnergy charging station

If your OlifeEnergy charging station is equipped with a wireless communication module, you need to set the channel on which LoRa transmits and receives the signal. With the OlifeEnergy charger, it is possible to change the channel using a smartphone app. The range is 0-15. After setting the ID in the charging station via the smartphone app, reset the charger using the app or by cutting off the power to the charging station. The same ID must also be set in the SmartMeter device.
