The Tapo C460 camera connects to the internet via Dual Band Wi-Fi (2.4 + 5 GHz), and the solar panel ensures battery charging. The camera features a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 px at 15 fps (8 MP), AI-powered object detection (people/cars/animals), an ultra-wide 113° field of view thanks to its fixed 3.17 mm lens, a Starlight sensor for color images both day and night, a durable body with an IP66 rating, IR illumination/white spotlight for low visibility up to 15 m, and two-way audio (microphone and speaker) controllable via a mobile app.

The camera has an integrated 10,000 mAh battery, providing a lifespan of up to 200 days without recharging. Footage can be stored on a microSD card with a capacity of up to 512 GB.

200-Day Battery Life

The camera features a rechargeable and replaceable battery with a low-power consumption protocol, significantly extending usage time. The up to 200-day battery life is based on TP-Link's laboratory testing with 270 seconds of daily usage. Actual battery life may vary depending on settings, device usage, and environmental factors.

Sound and Light Alarm

You can activate a sound and light alarm to deter unwanted visitors. The camera is also suitable for outdoor placement (IP66-rated). Recorded videos can be stored on a microSD card (up to 512 GB) inserted into the camera’s slot or in cloud storage via the Tapo Care service.
