The most advanced current backbone technology in the 5 GHz band. Thanks to advanced HDD technologies, eXtended Range, 1024QAM modulation, it communicates at speeds up to 1.2+ Gbps.

The connection is operated in the free 5 GHz band, so you do not have to pay any license fees for its operation. In addition to the standard TDD and FDD support, AirFiber came with the new HDD (Hybrid Division Duplexing) technology. AirFiber 5 also brings the new xRT (eXtended Range Technology) technology allowing a maximum range of 100+ km. This, together with other innovative technologies and the airOS F system, forms a unique connection that is very easy to operate and install and that achieves very high transfer speeds with very low latencies.

The new airFiber 5U will also offer visual signaling of the status of the units. The LEDs display the statuses of the RJ45 ports, GPS synchronization, the current modulation and, among other things, the signal strength of both sides of the connection. There is also overload signaling of the radio part. Two segment displays show the signal strength. You will especially appreciate them when aiming for a connection over long distances.
