Ubiquiti FiberPoE G2, Optical Data Transportfor Outdoor PoE Devices

UBNT FiberPOE G2 is an affordable, gigabit, optical-to-metallic, outdoor converter, which, in addition to converting data from optical fiber to metallic cable, can also provide power using PoE. Compared to the first generation, it can withstand a greater range of temperatures (-40 to 60°C).

FiberPOE includes 2 Ethernet ports, 1 SFP slot and a DC terminal block. There are a total of 3 options for powering the converter: the first is a DC terminal block, the second and third are via RJ45 ports. The converter can therefore be powered from both Ethernet ports, however, only the port marked as POE transmits data. All 3 options work in the range of 16 to 50V DC.
