In the event that your primary WAN connection goes down, UniFi LTE Backup Pro provides a backup mobile Internet connection to keep your network online. This model works only in US countries and supports LTE bands ((2, 4, 5, 12, 14, 66) category 4. LTE coverage and speed depends on the mobile network. Device can only work with security UniFi Gateway (UniFi Security Gateway) or UniFi Dream Machine and UniFi Network Controller version 7.2.85 or higher is required.This is not a router but an LTE modem that only works with USG.

You can place the UniFi LTE Backup Pro anywhere where the signal is best because it can be powered by 802.3af/at PoE, for example from a switch like the UniFi PoE Switch . You can mount it on the wall with a mounting bracket or you have the option of fixing it on your desk. The device has a secondary port that offers PoE bridging and passive pass-through (useful for a camera, access point, or other device).
