Wireless UniFi U7 Outdoor is a Wi-Fi 7 Dual Band Access point with 2x2 MIMO, modulation speeds 688 + 4334 Mbps (2.4 + 5 GHz) with support for Wi-Fi standards 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be. Due to the minimal dimensions, the unit can be discreetly integrated into any environment. Thanks to the physical design, the access point can be installed both inside buildings and in the outdoor environment (IPx6 protection). The unit can only be powered via PoE (802.3at / 44 to 57V DC) via the 2.5 Gigabit LAN port on the bottom of the device. The distribution of the Wi-Fi signal is handled by a pair of built-in antennas, but it is also possible to connect an external antenna using the external RSMA female connectors on the top of the device.

Central control of units

For the device, you need to download the original software called UniFi Network from the official website, thanks to which the entire network can be controlled. The indisputable advantage of the UniFi Network is that it is completely free without any restrictions! This central management will allow you to upload maps and set basic parameters such as SSID, guest account, start page, traffic statistics and the list and status of associated clients always easily and quickly.
