Alta Labs AP6 Professional Wi-Fi 6 Access Point

The AP6 Professional access point from Alta Labs has a compact form, elegant design, and allows for seamless integration into any commercial or residential environment. The AP6-Pro is powered only via Ethernet for a simple and clean installation and also features IP54 rating for broader use outside of indoor spaces.

The creators have done exceptionally well with individual features such as reliable roaming implemented through the 802.11r/k/v standards, multi-password authentication on the same SSID to segment networks based on passwords, or content blocking using a DPI engine, which requires no additional hardware and does not reduce the throughput of the Access Point.

Multi-password Authentication

An innovative approach to network segmentation using different passwords for Wi-Fi instead of creating virtual SSIDs allows you to increase network throughput. Each password can be associated with specific rate limits, configured VLANs, a Wi-Fi shutdown calendar, or a hotspot.

Deep Packet Inspection Engine

Content blocking by application, selection from an extensive predefined list including possible domain-based blocking, all without reducing throughput and the need for additional hardware.
