A feature of the switch is a switch button (Switch / VLAN / Extend) of which Switch position is a normal data transfer function, the VLAN position will disable devices on ports 1-22 from communicating with each other (only towards ports 23 and 24) and the last Extend position will reduce the line speed on ports 1-22 to 10 Mbps and thus allow reach at a distance of up to 250m, ports 23 and 24 will not be affected.
