The GETI GWH02D 4000 W MPPT inverter enables the direct use of photovoltaic panel systems to power resistance heating devices such as electric boilers, heaters, heating mats, water heating, etc. The inverter is additionally also equipped with an AC input, which allows connecting the inverter to the mains voltage and heating the water even when the sunlight is insufficient for heating.
The system is simple, it only requires the connection of the appropriate number of photovoltaic panels of max. power of 4000 W with operating voltage 160 ~ 350 V DC, mains voltage 230C AC and connection with a resistive load, e.g. heating coil, electric boiler, electric radiator or underfloor heating.
The direct current generated in the panels, which cannot be fed directly to the heating devices, is converted into alternating current in the inverter, which can be used to power the heating devices. The inverter has a priority input from the photovoltaic panels and when this voltage drops below 120 V, the water heating will be powered from the mains voltage of 230 V AC.
