CCR2004-16G-2S+ is a 19" rack router from the new line of CCR routers, which comes with the highest ratio power per 1 core of all CCRs, which is the most important aspect for more demanding operations based on processing per-connection (eg. QoS). The router is powered by a CPU with a 64bit ARM architecture with a clock speed of 1 700 MHz, has 4GB of DDR4 RAM and 128MB of NAND storage.

The router has 16× Gigabit LAN, 2× SFP+ slot (possibility to connect 1G and 10G modules), full USB 3.0 and serial port type RJ45. On the back, the router has two fans and 2 redundant sources.
