The metallic-optical WDM converter from Gigabit Ethernet to fiber with an SC connector offers a 1 Gbps full duplex throughput. The Ethernet port supports auto MDI/MDIX and automatically negotiates speeds of 10/100/1000 Mbps. The device enables transmission up to a distance of 2 km using single-mode optical fiber (9/125 µm) with a single SC connector. It operates at wavelengths of 1310 / 1550 nm (Tx / Rx), and for proper functionality, it is recommended to use the MC211CS-2 model on the other end, which features reversed wavelengths.
