The Tapo C425 wireless outdoor camera with integrated battery communicates with the Internet via classic 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. The camera has a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440 px at 30 fps (4 Mpx), object detection (people/cars/animals) using AI, a very wide shot 134° thanks to the 2.1 mm fixed lens used, Starlight sensor for color image day and night, durable body with degree IP66 protection, IR illuminator for impaired visibility at 30 m and two-way audio (microphone and speaker) controllable from a mobile app. The camera can be operated with a connected USB cable, an optional solar panel (Tapo A200) or an integrated 10,000 mAh battery with a duration of up to 300 days. A microSD slot for cards with a capacity of up to 512 GB is used to save footage.

300-day battery life

The camera includes a rechargeable and replaceable battery with a low power consumption protocol, which significantly extends the use time. Battery life of up to 300 days is based on TP-Link lab testing at 230 events per day or 180 days at 360 events per day. Actual battery life may vary depending on device settings and usage and environmental factors.

Sound and light alarm

You can trigger an sound and light alarm to drive away unwanted visitors. You can also place the camera outdoors (IP66 protection). You can save the recorded videos on a microSD card (up to 512 GB) inserted in the slot in the camera or in the cloud storage within the Tapo Care service.
