Ubiquiti UACC-CWDM-8, CWDM Mux Demux module, 8 channels

The CWDM is a passive MUX/DEMUX unit that enables the combination of up to eight fibers/wavelengths (1450 to 1590 nm) into a single physical path, thereby simplifying and reducing costs for long-distance fiber deployment. At the other end, the combined line is split again, requiring only one fiber instead of eight. CWDM technology provides a solution to expand the capacity of existing fiber infrastructure by allowing multiple channels/wavelengths on a single fiber. This passive unit supports the addition of an expansion unit with 4 additional fibers/wavelengths (1270 to 1330 nm).
