Ubiquiti UAP-XG Enterprise UniFi Access Point XG

UAP-XG is the ideal unit to cover a small area with large numbers of people - such as auditoriums, concert halls, etc. -. The total wireless modulation rate of 800 Mbps + 1733 Mbps will be converted into a cable thanks to a pair of Ethernet ports (1x 10/100 / 1000Mbps, 1x 1 / 10Gbps IMC) that both support input POEs according to the new 802.3bt standard. Power can also be supplied by the included passive POE adapter 50V / 1,2A.

UAP-XG offers up to 28 non-overlapping channels, 3 channels at 2.4GHz and 25 channels at 5GHz (including DFS channels). Thanks to 3 radio parts (1x 2.4GHz, 2x 5GHz) each unit can handle up to 1500 users, but the recommended number is half the theoretical maximum, ie 250 clients for each radio part.

Unit central management

UniFi APs doesnt have own web GUI and you manage them via UniFi Network, which you can download on UBNT websites here: http://www.ubnt.com. Or you can manage UAP devices using UniFi Cloud Key which has UniFi Network preinstalled. Additional benefit is fact that UniFi Network software is free of costs and includes advanced functions without limitations.
