Redundancy and High Availability

With two hot-swap power modules with 1+1 redundancy and five hot-swap fans with 4+1 redundancy, maximum reliability and easy maintenance without interruption of service is ensured. MC-LAG technology allows load balancing between devices, and VRRP automatically takes over the traffic in case of failure, minimizing the risk of outages and ensuring continuous connectivity.

Advanced Routing Features

The switch supports static routing and dynamic routing, including BGP and OSPF (planned in future UniFi Network updates), ensuring flexibility in network configuration and traffic optimization. Etherlighting is a visual technology developed by Ubiquiti aimed at facilitating the management and identification of ports in network racks using colored backlighting.

Centralized Management and Advanced Network Features

The device is managed centrally via UniFi Controller with support for the UniFi mobile app, without a web interface. It offers an extensive set of advanced L2 features, including port operation mode (switching, mirroring, aggregation). The UniFi Network Controller and mobile app allow administrators to conveniently configure and monitor all switch functions through a graphical interface from anywhere, ensuring efficient and flexible network management for modern businesses as well as smaller offices.
