Ubiquiti USW-Ultra, UniFi Switch Ultra

UniFi Switch Ultra is an 8-port compact PoE switch with a modern design for indoor use with table or wall installation from the manufacturer Ubiquiti Networks. Ideal for powering cameras and other 802.3af/at devices with PoE. The switch has 8 Gigabit LAN ports with 7x PoE output (30 W/port), a total maximum PoE budget of 202 W (depends on the type of power supply) and one PoE-IN port. The switch can be powered either via a DC connector (54 V DC) or via an Ethernet port with PoE-IN (802.3at/bt) on the back of the switch. The Switch is part of the UniFi SDN platform, enabling network monitoring and management in the UniFi Network application.

• Power supply via PoE (802.3at) - PoE budget max. 16 W
• Power supply via PoE (802.3bt) - PoE budget max. 42 W
• Power supply via DC adapter (60W) - PoE budget max. 52 W
• Power supply via DC adapter (210W) - PoE budget max. 202 W

* At a temperature higher than 45°C, the output PoE budget is reduced to 161 W and at a temperature above 60°C, the PoE budget is reduced to 121 W.

Management via UniFi Network

The UniFi switch does not have web management but is managed centrally using the UniFi Network with the support of the UniFi mobile application and offers an extensive set of advanced switching protocols and L2 functions. The UniFi Network Controller and mobile apps allow administrators to configure and monitor virtually all switch functions in a graphical user interface from anywhere.
